Prayer is a language that each of us speaks and hears in a different way. At Temple Israel, we strive to find a healthy balance between the traditional and the creative, bringing together the diverse voices that make up our community.  Our services are fully egalitarian, men and women participate equally.

Services are about half in Hebrew (most of which is also written in transliteration for those who are not familiar with the Hebrew alphabet) and half in English. We use both traditional and contemporary melodies. Each service also features a sermon or story, as our Rabbi shows us how the lessons from the past are relevant to our lives today.

Shabbat services are held weekly on Friday nights and generally start at 7:30pm.
